D&DA New Blood Awards 2016: John Lewis
Provided by John Lewis, the challenge was to create an experiential engaging window display and retail journey by building on their current technological innovation. John Lewis is a British retail store founded in 1864, based in London that believes in creating a seamless shopping experience for all their both online and in store.
The concept, Immerse Yourself, bridges the gap between the physical and the digital in the retail world. The concept and execution is about creating an experiential engaging window display and retail journey for all customers by building on John Lewis’ current technological innovation. The concept uses elements that are familiar to consumer’s digital world and elements that go unnoticed in the consumer’s physical world.
 This is achieved though the use of a fully digital and interactive window display screen that leads consumer in store through the digital shopping platform and in store locator app. The Digital Shopping Platform, allows individuals to browse through the new Autumn Collection before entering the store. After they have select three items they desire, a personal QR Code is displayed. When Scanned with a mobile device, a John Lewis Application opens that will then direct the consumer to their selected products on their shelf in store.
